This error is caused by using an outdated version of our software on a Windows 8 machine. As far as we know, this error is the result of missing or corrupted registry keys. Using the most recent version of the software will help avoid this issue.
Unfortunately, there is no way for our software to fix the issue, but since this is common among machines even when NOT running SystemSaver, we were able to find Microsoft's solution to the issue.
To put it simply, you will need to re-activate the profile -or- fix the registry issues. Following the above instructions step-by-step will allow you to do this.
